Our Team

Felicia Ackerman, MSW, LICSW, SUDP, RYT-200

Hello! I’m Felicia, a licensed clinical social worker, substance use disorder professional and a registered yoga teacher. I created Satya Counseling and Wellness LLC after my son was born as a way to combine the things that I am passionate about and create a space for wellness and healing in our rural community.

I have a BA in psychology, sociology and law from the University of Washington. I received my MSW from Eastern Washington University in 2012. My past experience includes psychiatric hospitals, medical hospitals, emergency department, psychiatric group home, outpatient and inpatient substance use treatment, homeless outreach, juvenile prison and outpatient therapy. I am trained in vinyasa, vini yoga, prenatal yoga and trauma informed yoga therapy.

Therapy is a collaborative process in which we use your own strengths to help you live the life you desire. Perhaps something is in your way, blocking you from living a life where you feel content and empowered. Therapy can help. I am passionate about working with anyone who wants something in themselves or their lives to change.

My experience includes (but is not limited to) working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma, life transitions, new or chronic medical conditions, anxiety, mood dysregulation, low self-worth, suicidal ideation, and self-harm behavior. I work with adolescents 12 and older, young adults, couples, and families.

I offer and welcome a nonjudgmental therapeutic environment for curiosity and self-reflection. Together we will work on processing thoughts and behaviors, while developing skills that will lead you towards a greater sense of wellness and meaning in your life and relationships.

Chelan Laurich-Glubrecth, MSW, LICSW-Associate

Sometimes the life we want and the life we have are not the same. With proper support, however, there is a way to integrate reality with your hopes and goals. If you have had difficulties in your relationships, career, or daily life, I want to help you navigate a path toward integration and wholeness. I believe that with compassionate support and a curious look into one's thoughts, behaviors, feelings, and motivation, everyone is capable of change. My experience includes working with children, youth and adults who have experienced anxiety, family conflict, parenting difficulties, behavioral issues, grief, and divorce to name a few.

I utilize a strengths-based perspective with Solution Focused Therapy and Person- Centered Therapy. Together we will develop an integrative approach to wellness engaging the body, mind, relational, and spiritual aspects of the self.

As Carl Rogers said, "The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination." — From On Becoming a Person, 1961

Holly Buche, MSW, LICSW-Associate

Therapy is a collaborative process, and clients are the best experts regarding themselves. Whether it be you are facing a hardship or difficult challenge in life, feeling overcome by life’s day to day stressors, or looking to heal and feel content and whole, this is a great place to start. I am passionate about using therapy as a collaborative endeavor in which we will build on your own strengths to help you live the life you desire.

Camille Carpenter, MSW, LICSWA

I utilize a trauma informed approach in my work with children, teens and young adults. Much of my experience is in childhood behavior management and conduct issues. My experience also includes working with people who have dealt with anxiety, depression, gender and sexuality issues as well as suicidal ideation, self harm and more. I am passionate in my belief that our bodies know exactly what they need to heal and that therapy can be a safe container for you to begin or continue your healing journey. I would be honored to hold that space for you or your child.

I utilize a combination cognitive as well as experiential, cognitive and somatic techniques. Play therapy is client directed and at their own pace.

“What happened to you wasn’t your fault. But healing is your responsibility”. When you are ready, I will be happy to accompany you on your journey.
